A kitchen committee has been approved by the Trustees:
Nancy Lees, Chairman, Joann Treffinger, Sarah Koogler, Doris Ewing, Luann
Eddington.
The committee has scrubbed, washed down walls, painted,
and generally cleaned the kitchen. All items have been inventoried and labels have been placed on doors, drawers,
cabinets, and shelves.
A sign out sheet has been placed by the telephone to be
used when removing items from the kitchen to another part of the church.
Items may not be taken from the church.
WAYS TO KEEP THINGS RUNNING SMOOTHLY:
1.
Use the sign out sheet.
2.
Containers you bring to the covered dish dinners, etc,
should have your name on it. Take your containers and left over food home.
3.
Label leftovers to be shared. Unlabeled food will be
disposed of.
4.
Place donated food in refrigerator or kitchen and label it
with your name, event, and date on it.
5.
Condiments in the refrigerator may be used by any church
group.
6.
After using items wash, dry, and return them to their
original place.
7.
Wipe counter tops and sinks, and clean up any spills. Sweep
the floor if necessary.
8.
Only trained people may run the dishwasher.
9.
Instructions need to be given before using the coffee maker,
oven, and stove. Contact Nancy Lees at home or via the church office.
TREAT THE KITCHEN AS YOUR OWN!!! (Maybe better than
your own.)
