CHECK OUT NORMANDY'S LIBRARY!

Have you looked at Normandy 's Library lately?  It's not a just a museum for old books!  There are some wonderful new books there available for you to check out, and we want to remind you of this handy resource.

Through the years, the United Methodist Women and others have purchased books for you to read and enjoy or use to gain useful information; and we encourage you to stop in and browse until you find something of interest to you.  Most of these are located on the left side as you enter the Library, and you will find Bible study resources, fiction, self-help, devotionals, some audio and video tapes, and some of the books used in recent group studies like The Purpose Driven Life and If You Want to Walk on   Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat.  A sampling of titles includes:

·         Where is God When It Hurts?

·         Helping Children Cope With the Loss of a Loved One

·         The Wedding Dress

·         The Essential Grandparent

·         Helpmates (support in times of critical illness)

·         Betrayal of Work (a good follow-up to Nickel & Dimed)

·         God Just Showed Up!

·         Also My Journey & The Long Good Night (both about Alzheimer's)

·         There Are No Children Here

·         If I Live to Be 100

·         Willing To Try Again (blended families)

·         Your Aging Parents

·         Living Through Personal Crisis
