Sunday Morning Class locations…

Nursery (birth – age 2)

Kids on the Move (9:30 AM)

   Lower Level… each  of  these  groups has their own space

2nd Floor…these students attend the beginning of service with their teachers

Kids Connection (11:00 AM)

Lower Level… this group meets together

VBS 2008 will soon be here…It’s time to pre-register now for the week of June 16^th – 20^th  9:30 AM-Noon. The theme this year is “Beach Party…Surfin’ Through the Scriptures”. Children age 4 through 5^th Grade will be included in this adventure. Back this year… Kids Club 45 (4^th & 5^th graders) will be meeting in the   Underground and planning part of the lessons for the younger children. Contact Amy Reese with any questions or to join the Leadership Team. It takes lots of volunteers to make this a great week! Childcare is provided for volunteers with children under the age of four.

Another Normandy tradition… is recognizing the leaders of our Sunday morning study groups. This includes children, teen and adult classes. Sunday, May 18^th will be Leadership Appreciation Day. Normandy is blessed to have so many committed people that have chosen to share their time and talents in such a meaningful way. Please be sure to thank your child’s classroom leader(s).

Did you know… May’s curriculum theme is all about God’s love? Ask your child or grandchild to share the stories with you.

The Sonshine Singers (ages 3-1^st Grade) finished up a wonderful season of praising God with their version of “Rejoice in the Lord Always”. We had a large number of participants this year and look forward to even more next fall!

Kids Club 45 (4^th & 5^th grade fellowship) is looking forward to a lock-in May 9^th & 10^th. Look for more details to arrive in the mail.

Kids Connection continues to be available every Sunday. Children ages 3 through 2^nd grade are invited to this 11:00 AM opportunity for learning and fellowship. The children gather in the Lower Level. This is in addition to the Kids on the Move scheduled at 9:30 am.

Many thanks go to the Boy Scouts for spreading mulch on the playground as a service project. It looks great!
