The dinners-for-eight program has been established at Normandy for a number of years. It is an excellent opportunity for you to make a short time commitment that results in getting better acquainted with members you might not otherwise know. New groups of eight persons will be assigned to complete four dinners during the time from October through March. Each group will have a leader who will get the group started and set the tone of welcoming fellowship. The times to meet are decided by members of each group. As a member of a group you'll be expected to host one of those four dinners. The host provides the meeting place and the main dish. Each other participant contributes some food to accompany the main dish. All members are welcome. You may participate as a single (with another single assigned or personally invited by you), as a married couple, as a widow or widower, as parents of young children, or as retired persons. The invitation is to participate as you are! Ya'll come - you'll like it!
