At Normandy UMC, we believe that all people are on a spiritual journey, and as we grow in our faith in God, it naturally shows in our actions. We strive to be a haven for healing, growth and faith expression for everyone, regardless of their stage of life, or their stage of faith development. There’s something here for you, too!

We have many opportunities for service and growth at Normandy. What Should I Wear?

Normandy invites everyone to worship and participate with us no matter what your clothing. However we recognize that most visitors want to "fit in" when they visit, and the following are guidelines to help you do that.

Men: "Corporate" (coat and tie) to "Corporate Casual" (dress slacks or twill pants, buttoned shirt). Jeans are worn by some. Summer attire is more casual with a switch to polo-style or other short-sleeved shirts.

Ladies: "Corporate" (blazer, skirt, pants suit) to "Corporate Casual" (dress slacks, twill pants, casual skirt and blouse, casual dress). Young ladies wear skirts, dresses, or pants. Jeans are worn by some. Summer attire is typically "Corporate Casual".

Youth and Children: comfortable clothes are the norm. Jeans, cargo pants and twill pants are all worn. Casual shirts and blouses are most common, but rarely tshirts. Casual shoes, tennis shoes or sandals are all worn. Small children wear shorts in the summer.

Summer worship services that are held in the outdoors, Fellowship Hall or Chapel are very casual. Come as you are!
