See Missions for UMW mission projects. 2008
BAZAAR Please
mark November 5 on your calendars. That is the date for our 2008 Bazaar.
Workshops will start Tuesday, February 28 9:30 AM in
the Fellowship Hall and also upstairs in room 214. These workshops will
continue every Tuesday through October. We need your help. We have jobs
for EVERYONE sewing, knitting, painting, sanding. It is a great time for
fun and fellowship. Child care is provided by our own church
member, Hope Scott. Any questions, call Jean Thie. NORMANDY UMW
GENERAL MEETING The
next general meeting of Normandy United Methodist Women is Monday, May 5
at 9:30 AM in Fellowship Hall,
and will include a brunch co-hosted by Sarah and Jochebed Circles. The
program will be a presentation given by Rosetta Schaffner, entitled
“Life With An American Indian Father,” in which she’ll shares some
of her personal history. Child care will be provided if needed. Please call Jennifer Biggs by May
3. We would encourage all to come and support this special program in
the life of Normandy UMW. See you there! Normandy UMW
has received an invitation from the United Methodist Women of Christ
United Methodist Church to attend a program they are presenting on
Wednesday, May 7. The
church is located at 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering. This
program includes a luncheon and features guest speaker Col. Coleen Ryan,
current Commander of Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The luncheon
and meeting will begin at 11:00
AM on the 3rd floor of Foster Hall in the church. Normandy women are
invited as guests, but reservations
need to be made to Sheila Spence
or the church office by April
28. We would hope to have a good representation from our church. UMW Circle News
ATTENTION DOROTHY LANE MARKET SHOPPERS If you haven't filled out a new 2008 Dorothy Lane Market donation form for Normandy Church UMW, please pick one up from the buffet in the Narthex or from one of the circle leaders and return it to the store. Remember a new form must be turned in the DLM every year. Thanks for your continued support!

Program. We have participated in this program for the past several
years and have earned hundreds of dollars to support In addition to groceries and purchase of any product at
