This week we continue looking closely at the words we pray each week in the Lord’s Prayer, focusing on: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
The message will explore what Jesus is asking of us when we pray these words, including the things we hold onto, the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation, and the connection Jesus makes in Mark 11 between faith, prayer, and forgiveness. We will also consider forgiveness through the movement of grace: “Forgive us” as grace received and “as we forgive” as grace practiced.
